Hinckley Amateur Cricket Club has existed for a long time! According to our club badge since 1933. We play in lots of leagues, at numerous age groups, in a couple of counties, Leicestershire and Warwickshire.
Last year both the 1st and 2nd team won their respective leagues in the Everards league setup easily. Our 3rd team also pushed very close but didn’t quite have enough games left in the season to catch up………
We have a thriving junior setup due to an awful lot of hard work on the part of cricket club members. The older members of the cricket club look forward to the challenge of keeping our places in our respective teams with the youngsters hot on our tails.
All members of the club know that we are a Cricket Club which is going places both on and off the field. (I guess this blog counts as off the field.)
It has always been a pleasure to play for the Amateur’s and will no doubt always be the case, I’m pretty sure most people would agree……..
